No Dog, No February 12, 2010
The dog did not want to run. I goaded him along for a mile or so, then gave in. You know what he likes now? Riding in the car.

7:20 AM Perfection February 9, 2010
Turns out 7:20 is the perfect time on a school morning to run with Butter. 7-7:18 pack lunches, make toast, pour milk. 7:19 put on running clothes & hook dog to leash. Then run. At this perfect moment, there are no teens or tweens at the bus stops. You and the dog can make it onto the Greenway before the gawking school buses start prowling. While on the Greenway, they all do what they need to do and when you emerge from the woods, they’ve gone.
The sky so blue, the air so cold, the dog so happy. Every time we run, I think he’s kind of slow. But he bursts into full muscularity as we get close to home. Lovely.

2 miles. Dog too tired to run. Superbowl about to begin. Everything simmering.
+2=46. Forty-six Good N Plentys.
buzzzzzzzz February 5, 2010
OK! That seven mile run was a mistake. I could hardly use my foot the next day. I’ve been sleeping in the PF cast. Dutifully.
Anway, yesterday I ran with the glowing raw food girls. Lovely, sunny, cold, and with a souvenir of raw sprouted lentil soup to make me vibrate. So good.

My First Good & Plenty Seven January 28, 2010
I took a movie to show how empty the bike path is. But I can not figure out how to upload it. It’s a really boring, gray movie. The point of the film is to ask: where are all of the sports persons and layabouts?
Very happy that the good and plentys are good for seven. Now Mim and I have a challenge: to run the length of the bike path to celebrate our birthdays this spring. I believe it is 14 miles.
